XM is waiving the reactivation fee for subscribers who dropped the service to protest the suspension of Opie and Anthony from the air.

The satcaster is offering to waive the $14.99 fee until June 30, according to The Washington Times.

About 5,000 subscribers canceled their subscriptions, according to an XM spokesman, who also told the paper the company adds about 1 million new subscribers each quarter.
