XM’s Michael LaBoone Dies

XM technical employee Michael W. LaBoone died this month, according to The Greenville (S.C.) News.

XM technical employee Michael W. LaBoone died this month, according to The Greenville (S.C.) News.

LaBoone was 49. He graduated from Wren High School and attended Greenville Tech and Furman University. He also had worked for WYFF(TV).

“A dedicated XM employee since 2002, Mike LaBoone was a Broadcast Maintenance Technician within XM’s Broadcast Operations department,” the company told RW in a statement. “All of Mike’s friends and colleagues here at XM are saddened by his loss.”

Condolences can be left at the Web site of Robinson Funeral Homes, where numerous XM co-workers, among others, have shared their memories of LaBoone.
