DX Engineering has announced that its XV2D Vietnam DXpedition will take place from Nov. 23 to Dec. 5 in Mui Ne, Vietnam.
The expedition will overlap with the 2015 CQ Worldwide CW Contest, which is scheduled to take place Nov. 28–29. The DXpedition will operate on the HF band using CW, SSB and digital modes.
DX Engineering supplied a pair of HF antennas for the DXpedition, the Butternut HF2V two-band vertical antenna and Comet’s H-422 rotatable trapped dipole. The company also provided three 400MAX DX series low-loss 50-Ohm 100 foot cable assemblies.
In addition, DX Engineering has created the XV2D DXpedition Combo, which, the company says, allows amateur operators to emulate the XV2D Vietnam DXpedition station, which is now available on DXEngineering.com.
