Yadgaroff Named CBS SVP

He will also serve as Philly market manager

David Yadgaroff will oversee all CBS Radio Philadelphia properties as the new senior vice president/market manager. He will take on his new role effective August 3.

“I’ve always been passionate about radio and all it has to offer our listeners and advertising partners,” Yadgaroff said in the press release that announced his appointment. “As we have evolved into multiplatform content providers, I am excited for what the future holds for our industry.”

CBS Radio owns and operates KYW(AM), WIP(FM), WPHT(AM), WOGL(FM), WZMP(FM) and WXTU(FM) in Philadelphia.

“David has been a longtime CBS Radio employee and one of our most consistent performers. His most recent stint as GSM of KYW has provided the station with some of its most successful revenue generating performances,” said CBS Radio Chief Operating Officer Scott Herman.

Yadgaroff has been with CBS Radio for 20 years and has worked as vice president/general sales manager, VP/GM and local sales manager of KYW Newsradio; and VP/GM of WPHT, WYSP(FM) and WOGL.

He is a graduate of Penn State University.
