Yahoo! Sports Radio has announced some changes to its lineup and a new affiliate.
First out of the gate, will be a weekend sports roundup show, afternoons 2–6 p.m., starting Jan. 3, hosted by Matt Perrault.
Launching Sunday, Jan. 4, 6–8 p.m., will be Tim Murray with a weekly football-heavy show, that will migrate to college basketball as the seasons change.
Boston sports radio vet Anthony Pepe will get a daily show, 10 a.m.–noon, starting Jan. 5.
Jason McIntyre will helm a weekly, Sunday sports roundup show, 11 a.m.–2 p.m., starting Jan. 11.
In other Yahoo! Sports Radio news, WVLZ(AM), Knoxville, Tenn., owned by Hit Parade Radio, is becoming a YSR affiliate.
Yahoo! Sports Radio CEO David Gow said, “We are confident our programming lineup, combined with the locally-focused and branded sports news updates, will bring Knoxville sports fans their daily sports fix.” Knoxville is home to the University of Tennessee.
