Radio Show Will Head to Dallas in 2012

Get your boots on.

Paul McLane is editor in chief/U.S.

Radio World has learned that the fall Radio Show will be held in Dallas next year.

Also now set are next year’s dates: Sept. 19–21.

The autumn convention is produced by the National Association of Broadcasters and the Radio Advertising Bureau; last year it switched to a hotel format.

The venue for next year’s show hasn’t been confirmed yet; but I’d expect that announcement soon, since presumably the organizers will want that information set before this year’s attendees head to the 2011 convention.

The 2010 event was at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, and this year’s show is at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.

Dallas also is home to some of the Radio Advertising Bureau’s offices.
