Best of Show: Aldena FM and DAB Multiband Antenna

For both FM and DAB+ bands, it offers 360-degree coverage with vertical polarization

We are featuring the products that won the Radio World Best of Show Award at the 2025 IBC Show. Winners were chosen by a panel of engineers and RW editorial staff for their innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.

Aldena says it is the world’s first analog FM and DAB multiband antenna.

The ADD022423XY model is a double-dipole multiband antenna designed for performance and reliability for both FM broadcasts between 87.5–108 MHz and the DAB+ band broadcasts from 174–240 MHz.

The antenna manufacturer said it combines both design and electrical performance, which promotes reliability in harsh environments.

The model provides 360-degree coverage with vertical polarization. It delivers 4.4 dB of gain for FM and 5.0 dB for DAB, with an efficient match to the transmitter for minimal signal loss. Built from rugged stainless steel, it includes integrated lightning protection and is engineered to withstand winds of up to 220 km/h.
