We are featuring the products that won the Radio World Best of Show Award at the 2025 IBC Show. Winners were chosen by a panel of engineers and RW editorial staff for their innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.
The Neuron made its successful IBC Show debut.
The FM/HD/DAB+ spectral audio processor uses 1/3 octave band resolution for transient peak control without pulling down critical frequencies with it.
The result, Wheatstone said, is the ability to drive more energy into the processor, yet maintain peak compliance for a much fuller, vibrant on-air sound.
Features include separate FM and HD/DAB+ paths, a multipath mitigator for consistent coverage, SCAs and a stereo generator.
The processor also has a RBDS/RDS generator and uses Wheatstone’s baseband192 technology for digitizing the multiplex spectrum and eliminating the analog/composite interface between processing and transmission.
