The History of Reel-to-Reel Audio Tape
This video will teach you everything you ever wanted to know about the history of audio tape. Actually, it’s an excellent video and really a great history lesson.

Alternative Musician Grows Up
Danny Elfman is familiar to many of us who worked in alternative radio in the ’80s as the lead in the group Oingo Boingo. But for the past 20+ years he’s moved into writing movie soundtrack and even served as the singing voice of Jack Skellington in “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” He continues to write soundtracks today (as noted in the credits of “The Goosebumps” movie). Here are a few of links to Elfman performances you might enjoy.

And finally …
NASA has released thousands of high-res photos from the Apollo missions. Word is they want to show that there are no alien spacecraft in these shots. Of course there aren’t any because, as everyone knows, the Apollo missions all occurred on a movie sound stage! (At least if you want to believe the so-called conspiracy theory.)
