Wow! Fourteen years! While we may not believe that so many years have passed, I do know for sure that we all look forward to this event to spend time connecting with people that we don’t get to see as often as we’d like. For me, this golf outing has become something I really look forward to every year.
So here we go again! I am pleased to announce the 14th Annual Scott Beeler Memorial Golf outing in conjunction with the NAB Show in Las Vegas. This year’s event will be held on April 16th (the Saturday before the show opens). We are back to a morning time with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. (no whining about the start time — or the weather!) and we will play a four-person scramble.
Some big news this year is that we have a new location. Our home for the past 13 years has a major event on Saturday and cannot host our event, so we are changing location to the Aliante Golf Club at 3100 West Elkhorn, North Las Vegas, Nev.
The course looks nice and we’ve been offered a rate that’s very good — so here’s hoping for a great event!
The entry fee is $95 per player ($380 per foursome). And, as before, I will collect the funds in advance. I must receive confirmation of your group ASAP and a check by March 15 if you want to play at the group rate. Reservations may be available after that date, but will be charged at the normal green fee of approximately $155 (and your tee time may be different). The course is very particular about getting paid by on time to keep our reservation so please help me out by sending checks quickly. Checks should be made out to me and mailed to:

I have also gotten us a great deal on rental clubs: they will be available for $20 (no balls included with that price) prior to the start for those that need them. If you want to prepay for rentals, please add it to your payment and let me know if you need right- or left-handed clubs. May save some time at the course …
As always, please plan to arrive early for breakfast, conversation, warm-ups and “Scotty Stories.” Many of us gather for lunch at the close of the round as well — please consider joining us if your schedule allows.
