The 3U unit comes in two-, four-and six-band versions, and includes RDS and stereo generators, transmitter remote control capabilities, backup audio-over-IP capabilities and an (optional) FM exciter (20 or 100 W). The company describes it as “Radio All-in-One.”

Basic RDS functions such as artist name, song title and scrolling PS are standard. There are three levels of audio backup with user-defined timing and crossfades. If digital audio fails, the unit switches to the analog input. If digital and analog fail, it can source audio from a Web stream. If those options fail, it can play audio stored on the internal hard drive.

Highlights include an optional 16 digital inputs and eight relay control outputs for remote control; and version 2 of Scripteasy graphic control software, which has added the Masterview viewer for creation of multiple “views” where users can see information from and control remote equipment over a network connection.

Audemat also is showing the Relio transmitter remote control device. The 1 RU unit provides 64 digital inputs, 64 digital outputs and 24 analog inputs; four serial ports; two Ethernet ports; and four USB ports. It comes with a voice/DTMF interface, and also Scripteasy v2 software.

Additional features include alarms sent via e-mails, voice messages and SNMP.
