An economical satellite fiberlink in a rackable chassis will be featured by DAWNco.

The company said the system includes rack-mounted fiber optic transmit and receive units; it is used with a satellite downlink to pass signals long distances without loss and prevent lightning damage to indoor equipment.

The TX unit will convert 950-2200 MHz input from a dish-mounted LNB into light. It connects over a distance of fiber to the RX unit at the other end, which converts light back to the satellite L-band signal. Fiber optic transmitter, fiber optic receiver, chassis and power supply are purchased separately.

Also on display: HiDef Ready Satellite LNBs and Satellite Feed Matrix Switch system.
