IBC to Hold In-Person Show After 3 Year Hiatus

Registration for IBC2022 is open now

IBC2022 is now open for registration as the show prepares to return to an in-person environment at the RAI Amsterdam September 9-12.

The IBC’s annual show “promotes face-to-face collaboration, learning, networking and business development across the media, entertainment and technology industry.” The annual event went on a three-year hiatus following pandemic cancellations in 2020 and 2021.

Show features for IBC2022 include a dedicated “Content Everywhere” area in the newly-expanded Hall 5, spotlighting emerging technologies for multiplatform delivery, over-the-top (OTT) streaming, and content monetization.

“We’ve already seen how the return of live events is reinvigorating the industry and, at IBC2022, we will enable everyone on our show floor to get back to business in the face-to-face way they love,” said Michael Crimp, chief executive of IBC

Per an IBC press release, 850 exhibitors have already been booked across the show’s 12 halls.

IBC2022 will also have the new Showcase Theatre in Hall 12, where technology providers and thought leaders will present projects featured in the 2022 Accelerator Media Innovation Program..

Other key features at this year’s IBC Show include: free masterclasses, panel discussions and demos.
