25-Seven PDM Protects Against Unwanted Content

Program Delay Manager is based on the audio algorithms used in 25-Seven’s Audio Time Manager.

(click thumbnail)25-Seven Systems is introducing its Program Delay Manager in both IP audio and standard digital/analog I/O configurations. PDM combines audio performance with protection against unwanted broadcast content and 25-Seven’s PD Alert system.

PD Alert lets the program director and other key personnel receive e-mail notification that program material was blocked from airing, including an audio file containing the content deleted by PDM. The company says PD Alert eliminates second-guessing about what was said and what was not aired during the incident.

Program Delay Manager is based on the audio algorithms used in 25-Seven’s Audio Time Manager. Features include artifact-free audio during build-up, delay and file insertion so listeners hear a smooth audio delivery. Delay time is adjustable, and PDM features a USB interface for audio file storage.

It is Axia Livewire-ready for intercommunication via IP to other Livewire devices. Operation is via the front panel’s large access switches; rear-panel GP I/O or PDM’s browser control with functions indicated on the LCD display. 25-Seven says PDM’s Web interface gives stations control and confidence during talk or call-in programming.

PDM will be shown in the 25-Seven Systems booth, as well as the Omnia/Axia/Telos and Broadcaster’s General Store displays.
