New at NAB, the Adobe Soundbooth software is a tool to create and edit audio and fix common audio flaws using visually-oriented tools.
Adobe Soundbooth will be available for Intel-based Macintosh and Windows systems.
The software enables users to record, edit and create audio without requiring training in sound production. To test the beta download and submit feedback to the Adobe Labs, go to labs.adobe.com/soundbooth.
Another launch at NAB is the next version of Adobe Production Studio, an integrated video and audio post-production tool set. Adobe says film, video and Web professionals who use Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator on the Mac will soon be able to use new Macintosh releases of Adobe Premiere Pro, Encore DVD and Soundbooth. The company expects the next release of Adobe Production Studio to ship in mid-2007.
