AEQ will exhibit the Phoenix family of IP audio codecs.

Each unit has two slots for optional communication modules. Initially, POTS will be the first available module, but ISDN, X21, V35 and GSM will soon be available.

Phoenix is available in two models: Phoenix Mobile, for portable use, with a digital mixer with four analog inputs, internal Li-ion battery and 12 V DC power supply/charger; and Phoenix Studio, a standard 1 RU rack-mountable case with stereo analog and digital inputs and outputs and universal power supply (90–250 V DC).

The Phoenix, in addition to the main program and return, can simultaneously provide a backup (or coordination) channel using the optional communication modules.

Additionally, AEQ has developed new boards for the software-controlled rack-mountable Course multi-codec, so it communicates with IP and telephone hybrid connections as well as ISDN and X21/V35.
