Welcome to the Opera, a new modular analog broadcast console from AEQ. According to AEQ, the Opera is designed to replace its long-time staple, the BC-500.
The Opera will accommodate up to 17 modules — input channels, output channels, telephone hybrids, etc. Input mic/line channels have two-band EQ and an insert. All faders are 100 mm. Transformer and electronic balancing abounds.
The Opera also offers a pair of two-way monitor speaker arrays and LED meters on a meter bridge. Also available is a four-wire talkback intercom.
