Armstrong Shows Specialized Broadband FM Antenna

Armstrong will exhibit the FMA2VBP, an FM broadband vertical-only antenna for up to 2 kW input.
Originally designed for military applications, it comes in a hard-shell gun case for ease of transportation in an emergency. The supplier says it assembles in less than three minutes.
The FMZ2VBP can be packaged with Armstrong’s FM2000B FM Broadband Transmitter in an optional shock-mount road case to create an emergency backup RF system for use when a station has been knocked off the air by a natural or manmade disaster.
