Broadcast Electronics said it will emphasize its Total Radio approach to station operation. It will demo what it calls the “first end-to-end studio system integrating on-air audio with over-the-Internet, HD Radio and RDS data activities.”
It integrates the AudioVault Version 9.0 digital audio system with SoniXtream streaming media management software and Now Playing software, which can generate song title, artist and other text for RDS and HD Radio tuner displays.
BE will promote its new 4M AM modulation method and display the 4MX 50 kW transmitter. It also will show the FXi digital FM exciter, XPi 10 Data Exporter, IDi 10/20 Data Importer and other transmission products, and highlight data products including an HD Radio Data Importer that has multicast-channel bandwidth provisioning.
Other booth plans include the Big Pipe broadband T1/wireless inter-facility transport unit; RDi Dynamic RDS Generators; products for RDS multiplexing, monitoring and logging; and the Marti line of RPUs and STLs.
