Making the trip to Las Vegas from Brazil, broadcast equipment maker Biquad will present its Acadia RDS/RBDS encoder (shown). It is compatible with U.S. and European broadcast systems.
Acadia can be locally operated through its front-panel OLED screen and control knob or via GPIO or web remote. There are front- and back-panel USB ports. It offers PS, PI, TP, TA, PTY, PTYN, MS, DI, RT, CT, AF, EON, EWS, ODA, TMC, IH, RP, PIN, SLC, LINKAGE, EPP, ECC, FFG and SPS.
Biquad is debuting for the Vegas audience TopArm, a microphone arm featuring a modern design. The anodized aluminum arms include a large LED indicator at the microphone end that shows when the microphone is in use. The energy-efficient indicator has high luminosity, even in very bright surroundings.
TopArm joints utilize polyamide for greater strength and endurance, the company says.
