Broadcast Bionics will showcase at IBC2013 the On Air Social Interaction Server (OASIS), which offers a smart way to access all of one’s social media in the studio, says the company.
With OASIS, the broadcaster is in control, allowing for the possibility of choosing from a raft of filters and statistics to find the optimum content for one’s show.
Furthermore, explains Broadcast Bionics, OASIS integrates with the station’s playout system giving the presenter the artist’s official tweets and posts and helping find the VIPs, or the “Twitterati” near a specified location.
The system allows the user to add tweets and posts to his or her on air queue, tweet back and post pictures — thus permitting the broadcaster to be at the center of what’s going on inside the studio and more importantly outside the studio, so the show is part of the social network.
These and many more features sit neatly within the redesigned PhoneBox touchscreen interface.
