Burk G-Link Series Expands GSC3000 Functionality

Burk Technology will show its G-Link Bus Expansion Series, which the company calls a new approach to remote control based on the GSC3000 system. Broadcasters can monitor facility conditions by adding G-Link products to a new or existing GSC3000 transmitter remote control system.
G-Link units on display will include models AC-4 and AC-8 remote outlet controllers for remote management of 120 V inputs such as HVAC appliances, lighting and computers. Also at the show will be the GT-4 four-input remote temperature monitoring unit and the GX-128 for controlling off-the-shelf X10 brand automation products.
G-Link integrates remote facility monitoring on one platform and uses the same software and Web-based interfaces as the GSC3000.
Also planned for display is the OneConnect direct interface, which provides a link from transmitters and other plant equipment to the GSC3000 system. The company says it has partnered with major transmitter manufacturers to allow remote management via OneConnect.
And AutoPilot 3 software for the ARC-16 introduces Custom Views, which give broadcasters more flexibility in viewing and managing many ARC-16 sites; and an e-mail alarm notification that has customizable reporting so that each alarm message can be sent to a different e-mail address. Burk also will feature Lynx 5.1 software for the GSC3000 and VRC2500.
Burk is in Booth 502.
