BW Broadcast’s upcoming analog/digital STL Package, to be featured at the NAB Show, has something old and something new.
Making use of the established RBRX1 receiver, BW built an STL receiver with all the features of the RBRX1.
On the new side, BW has designed a dedicated STL 10 W transmitter box. Inside it placed one of BW’s DSPX multiband processors. It also has AES/EBU digital inputs. Both boxes are 1 RU in size.
The whole system features “built in backup audio, silence detection, email alerts, HTML 5 Ethernet remote control, analogue, digital and composite inputs and outputs, built-in multiband audio processing, built-in stereo encoder, the ability to do 5 kHz spacing,” according to BW’s release.
Expected price will be under $6,000 and should ship in Q3 of 2012.
