Another company has jumped into the fray to make sense of the new media frontier.
CasterStats from Belgium’s IP Graph is a desktop application designed to monitor Web streaming audiences.
CasterStats monitors streaming server activity while also locating listeners and measuring their listening activity. It also keeps historical logs of such information and generates reports as well. It will operate with in-house servers or third-party service provider servers.
IP Graph Director Pierre Mengal stated, “Being able to get reports on your audience behavior is probably the key to improving your programming. Having access to a lot of audience information, quickly and at any time is a powerful tool.”
As of posting time CasterStats is still in beta (V.4). It is also free.
