To take advantage of two onboard software eight-channel utility mixers that are built into WheatNet-IP Blade servers, Wheatstone has developed the Sideboard control surface.
The Sideboard is an eight-channel “countertop” upright control surface that connects to the Blade via Ethernet.
That connectivity gives the Sideboard access to any source within the WheatNet network. The Sideboard’s output becomes a functioning source on the WheatNet network.
Each fader channel offers a program and audition bus assignment switch along with an eight-character scribble strip. Also included are six source assignment switches, a dual 20-segment LED bargraph and headphone controls.
