Davicom’s upgraded firmware and software allows users to work with third-party remote software; in this picture Nautel’s AUI remote control software. Control systems specialist Davicom has released version 5.48 of its firmware and MacComm system communications software.
On the firmware side, new is a configurable web server home page, SNMP V3-compliant SNMP agent and manager, DTMF Quick Commands for touchtone telephone operation, PPP (dial-up) to IP bridging and support for Davicom’s DADS-01 AES/EBU audio detector switcher.
The new software supports and makes use of the firmware changes along with adding an audio monitoring level adjustment and direct access via the Web to site peripherals that have a URL.
