Delta Meccanica recently completed the design of a 3 dB Hybrid Coupler for up to 150 kW of power for FM applications. It features isolation and a return loss of about 35 dB. The coupling is also linear — equal to -3.01 ±0.05 dB.
The company has tested its configuration connections, and first RF test satisfied the design specifications.
The company says it has already received an order to supply a combiner with seven inputs, with a total power output of 120 kW. The system is intended for a private station.
