Denon DJ, the DJ equipment line of D & M Professional, has released two new products recently.
The DN-S700 is a tabletop DJ-style slot-load CD player. It will also play MP3 discs. The onboard display is compatible with MP3 tags. Centered around an enlarged CD-sized jog wheel, features include hot start, fader start, seamless looping, BPM counter, pitch bend and pitch control. The fader is a 100 mm long throw model. Onboard effects include echo, flanger and a sweep filter.
MSRP is $499 though it is street pricing for significantly less.
The DN-HP500 are “entry-level” headphones featuring 40 mm drivers with neodymium magnets. Impedance is 40 ohms with an expected frequency response range of 10 Hz–28 kHz. The ear cups swivel 90 degrees for tight storage. Price is around $69.
