Denon Ships DN-501C CD/Media Player

Handles most common audio files and works with iOS devices

Denon has a new CD player available for prospective broadcast use, the

DN-501C

. It’s a CD player with a little extra.

According to a release, besides playing standard CDs, it can access iTunes libraries from iOS device via its USB port. It can also access USB mass storage devices via the port.

The one-rack unit, slot-loading player can play back WAV, MP3, AAC and AIFF files. It also has pitch control, “frame-accurate” search functions, cue start, hot start programming, CD ripping to a storage device and XLR balanced outputs (analog and AES/EBU digital).
