Console and digital network equipment manufacturer DHD Audio is debuting a Dante interface for its 52/XCdigital audio network router equipment, the 52/XC Dante IP Audio Interface.
Dante is an IP-based audio network standard developed by Audinate. Dante systems, and consequently the 52/XC Dante interface, can pass 48 24-bit/48 kHz bidirectional channels of digital audio across a standard Ethernet network. Dante is Mac- and Windows-agnostic and is designed to be plug-and-play and work with off-the-shelf IT equipment.
The Dante interface makes the DHD 52/XC compatible with other Dante-enabled audio equipment manufactured by other companies.
