Newly upgraded from a decode-only approach, the IQOYA *LINK/LE now includes full-duplex encoding and decoding. Digigram will exhibit it at IBC2013.
The system is equipped with a Fraunhofer AAC codec pack as a standard feature; an optional enhanced AptX audio codec is available. In addition to its dual Ethernet ports and an RS-232 data ports, four GPIOs and an I/O bypass, the IQOYA *LINK/LE provides two levels of backup and automatic failover.
The IQOYA *LINK/LE enables distribution of mission-critical digital audio over IP networks, thus giving broadcasters a more flexible solution than traditional models at a much lower TCO, the company says.
