D&R Electronics has supplied an update to its GSM Hybrid system, which is designed to create a wireless interface that listeners can call.
The updated system offers features that include HD Voice, echo cancelling, digital EQ and application control over USB on a PC. The GSM Hybrid has its own number that users can call, which can be taken directly on the mixing console courtesy of built-in GPIOs.
Software features for the GSM Hybrid include input and output metering, level control, phone dialing, address book, number recognition and GSM signal strength indication. Input and output levels can be configured in the settings menu.
