Drawmer Debuts Active Splitter

Is 4x4R an ATV for audio signals?

Drawmer, better known as maker of a British studio audio processor, is shipping the 4x4R, an active audio splitter.

The 4x4R is a slim four-channel in and 16-channel out. The outputs are balanced. Optional transformer isolation is available.

Each input channel has 48V phantom power, gain control, mic/line switch, bar graph meter and a monitor switch. A headphone jack and the “D” output for each output channel are located on the front panel.

The company makes a 4×4 Portable Kickbox for press conference and outside broadcast applications; it says the new 4x4R is suitable for rental, touring, live sound and fixed installations in venues and theatres.
