The DRM Consortium has introduced a new section for its Web site, gathering in one place information about DRM+.

DRM+ is the extension of the Digital Radio Mondiale standard for digital radio for use on frequencies from 30 MHz to 120 MHz, primarily VHF bands I and II.

The DRM+ subsection of the site offers information about the standard, its capabilities and data applications. It is expected to be updated with information about field trials and other development as they occur.

Members of the DRM Consortium plan to extend their system to operate on frequencies of up to 120 MHz, including FM broadcast frequencies in VHF band II, 87.5 to 108 MHz.
