Building upon the Digidesign 003 Rack and 003 Factory, the Digidesign 003 Rack+ Factory is the third member of the 003 Pro Tools LE DAW family.
The 003 Rack+Factory features an eight-channel rackmountable preamp/I/O box. Input/output includes ADAT optical, S/PDIF and MIDI digital formats. Digital performance is up to 24-bit/96 kHz. Preamps feature 48V phantom power and have a front-panel gain control, 20 dB pad and high-pass filter.
The software package features Pro Tools LE 7 multichannel DAW along with a free upgrade to Pro Tools 8. Also included is a boatload of free plug-ins including Digidesign-optimized offerings from JoeMeek, Moogerfooger, SansAmp and Bomb Factory.
