Powered monitor maker Genelec has upgraded its 8020A monitor. The 8020B has a power switch on the rear to completely shut off power. The front-mounted volume control only controls volume.

Due to the new rear-panel configuration, the second XLR connector on the 8020A has been removed on the 8020B.

The 8020B is a two-way monitor measuring 9.5 inches x 6 inches x 5.5 inches. It offers a 4-inch woofer and 0.75-inch tweeter. The tweeter is coupled with a Genelec Directivity Control Waveguide. Dual 20 W amplifiers power the package. Expected frequency response is 66 Hz to 20 kHz.
