Harris Expands IP Link Family

Following on the NAB Show’s debut of the IP Link 100 Harris Broadcast is adding the second member to its Intraplex IP Link family of IP codecs, the IP Link 200.

According to Harris the IP Link 200 has all the features of the 100 but adds a second bidirectional stereo connection for multichannel performance.

Codec schemes include linear, AAC-LC, HE-AAC v2, G.722, MPEG II and MP3. It also includes Harris’ Dynamic Stream Splicing technology for sending two identical signal streams to assure delivery at the receiving end. Both streams are used to reassemble the signal.
