(click thumbnail)Henry Engineering will tell attendees about SixMix, a compact USB broadcast audio console.

Retailing for $1,195, the SixMix is a 10-input, six-channel console that’s about the size of a laptop computer. The company promotes it as a “missing link” that turns a PC or laptop computer into a broadcast studio. It targets the SixMix for use with radio automation, digital production, news editing, Webcasting or as an emergency studio.

“The most important (and unique) feature of SixMix is its integral USB digital audio interface,” the company says. “Just connect a USB cable to any PC or laptop, and it’s ready to record, edit and play digital audio with superb audio quality.”

Other features include a Cue bus with Cue speaker, Monitor system with mic-on muting, a Mix-Minus output, and Guest headphone facilities with full Talkback.
