Multicam Systems, a live video production systems manufacturer, will be using IBC 2016 in Amsterdam as the launching pad for its new version of Multicam Radio.
The video production system caters toward broadcast radio shows and is already used by broadcasters such as Bel RTL, Fun Radio Bruxelles, Medi 1 and Mosaique FM. The system is fully automated, which means no scripts, macros, or adjusting audio levels of on-air talent. The Multicam Radio software manages the system’s presets, listens to XML commands coming from the existing radio automation and can live stream programs to the internet.
The system’s AI module is driven by the audio detected from microphones and the visual presentation is chosen by a selected preset of the camera views, before the broadcast. The graphics packages are synced with your chosen radio automaton software’s timeline. The new update to Mulitcam Radio has a feature called Scene, which is an interactive workflow allowing users to customize commands like graphics overlay, names of speakers, jingle and advertisements.
