IBC Sneak Peek: AEQ Releases Split Forum IP

Offers extended versatility, easy configuration, says company

AEQ is introducing a split version of its AEQ Forum multichannel IP console, the Split Forum IP.

The new console, which features a separate audio engine and split control surface, is designed to provide flexibility and ease of installation in today’s space-constrained radio studios.

According to the company, flush mounting of Split Forum IP’s control surface is simple, while interconnection of the modules and audio engine can be managed via standard CAT5 cables with RJ45 connectors.

The Split Forum IP offers the same operating functions as the original version and can manage up to 20 fader channels. It also features the same command options, which include “Forum Virtual” and “Screen.”
