Ampegon is introducing at IBC2015 the new solid-state shortwave transmitter line, TSW-SSA with an output power ranging from 1.5 kW to 25 kW, and featuring integrated Digital Radio Mondiale solutions.
Central to the design of the low-power, solid-state transmitter line, is a class-E push-pull amplifier concept, says Ampegon, which is based on the in-and-out phasing method.
Furthermore, the company explains, the modular combination of amplifiers allows customers to specify transmitters for any power class, while the Ampegon Unified Control System platform (UCS) oversees transmitter operation, thus providing a single, common interface and in-house platform development.
