Ampegon is highlighting the TSW-SSA fully solid-state shortwave transmitter with integrated DRM solutions at IBC2016.
Featuring an output power ranging from 1.5 kW to 25 kW, the low-power, solid-state transmitter range is designed and built using only solid-state technology, says the firm.
Central to the design is a class E push-pull amplifier concept, which is based on the in-and-out phasing method. The modular combination of amplifiers allows customers to specify transmitters for any power class.
In addition, the Ampegon Unified Control System platform (UCS) oversees transmitter operation, thus providing a single common interface and in-house platform development.
