IBC Sneak Peek: ENCO to Demo Video for Radio

Advances offer richer media experience for Internet, mobile radio streaming, says firm

ENCO is set to demonstrate its new automated workflow for Video for Radio at IBC 2015. The workflow delivers high-quality video feeds with radio streams without the need for manual intervention, says the company. This includes integration with multi-camera video production systems for TV, web and mobile consumption of live and on-demand radio programming.

ENCO’s Video for Radio workflow is able to automatically recognize video and graphical content pairs with a specific audio stream or clip, including advertisements. The workflow also supports automatic camera switching between hosts and guests during live radio programming, triggered through recognition of “hot” mics, adds Enco.

Built into ENCO’s DAD radio automation system, the Video for Radio application integrates with NewTek’s TriCaster, VidiGo’s Visual Radio platform, and Orad’s RadioTV. The platforms enable DAD to schedule, synchronize and play out videos, switch live camera feeds, display real-time animated graphics, and integrate bugs, crawls, social media, RSS and other data feeds.
