IBC Sneak Peek: Nautel Adds to GV Series

Announces a new model in its product line

Nautel is releasing GV30, a new model in its recently released GV Series of high-power FM transmitters.

The GV Series, being shown at IBC for the first time, brings the company’s “proven solid-state architecture and recent operational innovations to high-power digital transmission,” says Nautel.

The GV Series supports power levels ranging from 3.5 kW to 80 kW and includes a spectrum/efficiency optimizer, which automatically monitors the transmitter and dynamically adjusts parameters to meet the spectrum mask while maximizing efficiency as well as RDS PS scrolling for song title and artist displays.

The series also offers a suite of audio and processing functions including Orban Inside, USB audio input, IP audio I/O, scheduler/playlists, MPX over AES support and LiveWire support. These functions are accessible via Nautel’s Advanced User Interface (AUI), which itself has been updated with a new oscilloscope view and some site control functions.

Robust cabinet and module designs, hot swap of power modules, extensive redundance and field repairable amplifier pallets make the GV Series easy to install and maintain, says the company.
