IBC Sneak Peek: NTP Unveils EUCON 3.1 Control

Will also display AX32 AD/DA converter, DX32 digital audio bridge and DADman 4.2

NTP Technology is introducing EUCON 3.1 control for the DAD AX32 A/D-D/A converter at IBC2014.

The Digital Audio Denmark AX32 A/D-D/A high-end converter and DX32 digital audio bridge will be shown together with new DADman version 4.2 control software for Windows and OSX.

The AX32 comes as standard with interface for Avid Pro Tools and eight AES/EBU and MADI inputs and outputs. It can be fitted optionally with a Dante IP audio interface and two optical MADI interfaces, making it a versatile platform, says the firm.

Housed in a compact 2U chassis, the AX32 is designed for use in audio recording and mixing as well as post-production. It allows large multi-microphone arrays to be accommodated without the need to transport a second processor. Up to 48 microphone feeds can be connected back to the control room along a single Cat-5 cable via transparent and uncompressed IP Ethernet, explains NTP. The optional microphone preamplifier provides up to 72 decibels of analog gain, 123 dB dynamic range and an equivalent noise floor of –133 dB.
