Wheatstone is bringing its split-frame LX-24 mixing desk to Amsterdam in two pods, six modules on each side. With all of the console action off to the side, explains the company, announcers can work their shows from their keyboard, monitor and mouse in the middle.
Wheatstone says there is no need for a backplane for the modules, and that the motherboard is conveniently mounted under the table.. The LX-24 mixing desk along with talent stations and the WheatNet-IP audio networking system will be on show at the Wheatstone stand.
