Traffic information company Inrix is launching a Digital Media Suite aimed at radio and TV station traffic information operations.
The Digital Media Suite is a Web-based system. It is designed for use by individual station personnel and requires little training or experience. Besides providing familiar traffic activity maps, camera feeds and incident reports it also provides script models. It can also make use of a station’s Facebook and Twitter efforts to collate breaking traffic information reported via those methods.
Inrix says it uses hundreds of sources to aggregate its traffic information through its Inrix Traffic Intelligence Platform. The radio module is available and has a 30-day free trial. The TV module is expected to debut at the NAB Show in April.
