The company offers audio and video streaming, including unlimited simultaneous listeners, plus SoundExchange reports for one monthly fee.
New this year are online ad sales; Jetcast is a charter member of the ReplaceAds online network of 500 terrestrial radio stations aggregating content from multiple streaming providers, so advertisers can reach large online populations with one buy.
Also new are online spot and content insertion systems to manage online inventory plus additional Web-only programming via the StreamAds web service.
And Jetcast now offers social media training videos customized for radio, with advice from radio experts to increase stations’ online presence and branding.
Shown, Mega 104.3 FM in Phoenix runs a video ad on its Jetcast player as the stream loads. The station sold the opening video and a banner ad to a local college recruiting adult students via this station’s format of “old school and R&B” music. One of its preset buttons links to the station’s MySpace page.
