JK Audio has added a new innkeeper to its offerings, the innkeeper LTD, a digital hybrid.
The LTD is a half-rack unit designed for studio call-in show use. A line-level signal keeps the audio strong all the way to the telephone. Echo-cancelling 16-bit DSP keeps audio clean and separate while preventing noise bursts.
XLR connectors connect the host to the system and the caller to the mixer. RJ-11 connectors handle the phone traffic. LEDs provide level metering. Other features include an auto-answer/auto-disconnect.
An optional rackmount accessory can mount two innkeeper LTDs in one rack space.
