JK Audio is showing Remote Mix 4, a four-channel mixer and headphone amplifier that routes audio through cell phones and portable devices using Bluetooth wireless technology.
It features a phone line hybrid and keypad, a PBX handset interface and a 2.5 mm cell phone interface. The company says the additional audio connection offers 20 kHz stereo audio playback through cell phones and portables using Bluetooth.
The Bluetooth interface on Remote Mix 4 first attempts to connect in hands-free mode to a cell phone. If this type of connection is not available, it connects to a laptop or portable that allows a Bluetooth connection. The wireless headphone mode offers a full audio bandwidth, stereo connection.
